Edscha Kamenice helps

Subsidiary donates 850 respirator masks

“We give our staff’s health protection and safety top priority”, says Zdeněk Krofta, manager of the Edscha plant in Kamenice, Czech Republic. “But in such difficult times as these it is also important to think of others and to consider how we can help them.” For this reason Edscha Automotive Kamenice has donated a total of 850 respirator masks to the local medical rescue service, the fire brigade and several local schools.

Particularly the paramedics and firefighters have daily contact with other people whose lives they save and whose property they protect. It was therefore a heartfelt wish of Edscha Automotive Kamenice to help those who help others. Since schools in the Czech Republic have also been reopened under strict hygiene regulations, but buying a respirator mask is not a matter of course for everyone, another part of the donation was given to local schools in order to support pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. "I believe that this symbolic gift will help the recipients to get through this complicated period in good health”, concludes Zdeněk Krofta.
