On tour in Japan
Remscheid, August 4, 2015 – Edscha Roadshow on an extended tour of Japan: after a good six weeks and more than 9,000 kilometers at sea, the exhibits of the Edscha Roadshow arrived safe and sound in Tokyo in early July. The program put together by the Japanese colleagues began with four Tech Shows for the customers Subaru, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda. The entire Edscha product portfolio was shown.
All four Tech Shows were very successful; the events at Toyota and Mazda were particularly well attended, with more than 200 visitors at each. “Our innovations, for instance the Edscha Spindle Stop, aroused great interest everywhere,” reports Sales Director Miaki Sumida. But visitors also found the established Edscha products interesting, such as powered liftgates, rolled section hinges and forged hinges, stepless door checks and hood hinges for active pedestrian protection. “We were able to welcome many high-ranking representatives from development and procurement departments as guests at our Tech Shows, held many interesting talks and initiated new projects,” says
Miaki Sumida, who assesses the events at the Japanese OEMs as a complete success.
