Effective July 1, 2011, Torsten Greiner (55) assumed the function of Chief Executive Officer of the Edscha Group. He now bears overall strategic responsibility for Edscha’s business development.
Before joining Edscha, Greiner was a member of the Brose Group management board and as such was responsible for Brose Schließsysteme GmbH in Wuppertal, where he had successfully managed the business since 2005. A qualified mechanical engineer, he had previously worked for the Bosch Group since 1994; as production manager of the Closure Systems product division there from 2001, he was in charge of global production. The division was subsequently taken over by Brose.
Markus Kirchner (55) has been a member of the Edscha Executive Board since July 1, 2014. In this function he is in charge of Sales and Project Management.
An engineer with a degree in business management, Kirchner has worked for more than 20 years in the automotive supply industry. Before joining Edscha, Kirchner was director of automotive sales at WKW Erbslöh Automotive GmbH in Wuppertal. For two years he was also president of WKW Erbslöh in Detroit, Michigan.
Ervin Jahić (49) has been a member of the Edscha Executive Board since May 1st, 2020 and in this role he is responsible for production at all Edscha plants in Germany and abroad as well as for global purchasing.
Ervin Jahić started his professional career with Edscha on July 1st, 2016, when he assumed the strategically significant job of overall responsibility for the Edscha business in Asia. He will retain the role of Chief Executive Officer Edscha Asia even after his appointment as Managing Director. Before joining Edscha, Ervin Jahić had last worked for the automotive supplier Johnson Controls Inc. (today Adient) in various positions in China. The graduate mechanical engineer started his professional career in 1999 with Grammer AG.
Volker Weiss (51) has been in charge of business administration at Edscha since 2010. His responsibilities encompass finances, controlling, information technology and legal affairs.
Volker Weiss began his career with Edscha on October 1, 2002, occupying the post of business manager. This qualified industrial engineer previously spent six years working with Vaillant GmbH in Remscheid. He occupied various positions there, including the post of manager of Controlling at one business unit, and manager of the Post-Merger Integration Office.
