Duration of apprenticeship: 3 years

Process mechanics manufacture products from plastic. When making molded parts they use a variety of materials and machines, monitor the manufacturing processes and check the results based on strict quality requirements.

This multifaceted occupation also includes maintenance of tools, machines and equipment. After completing their training, process mechanics are mainly employed as skilled workers in production.
