Award for company culture

Edscha again certified as Top Automotive Employer

  • Award confirms Edscha’s outstanding qualities as an employer

Remscheid, February 10
, 2015 – International automobile industry supplier Edscha, which has been part of the Spanish Gestamp Group since 2010, has once again been singled out as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute. This award confirms Edscha’s outstanding human resources management and strategy and identifies the company as an employer which continuously works towards optimising its working environment and offers its employees excellent working conditions.

“Edscha attaches great importance to the well-being of its employees. The so-called feel-good factor in the company culture is rated significantly above average and raises Edscha head and shoulders above other employers,” explains Peter Laerberg, Human Resources Manager of the Edscha Group. “We have a company culture which is a pleasure for our staff to work in, and we are delighted that our efforts have also

been recognised by the auditors.”

The award is the result of an independent investigation by the Top Employers Institute, which has been certifying employers with outstanding human resources policies and strategies since 1991. Only companies which can demonstrate the highest standards in human resources management and staff orientation receive the “Top Employer” accolade. “Top Employers” ensure that employees benefit from continuous development, both personally and professionally. This is the basis for company growth and continuous improvement and development. Talent strategy, human resource planning, the integration of new employees, training and development, performance management, executive development, career and successor planning, compensation and benefits as well as the company culture are evaluated and critically questioned as part of the current study.

The certification gives potential employees guidance when choosing an employer: they are provided with objective evidence of a company’s qualities as an employer. The company in turn benefits from the award by strengthening its reputation as an employer. This helps with the

competition for well-trained specialists. In addition to Edscha, 24 other companies received a Top Automotive Employer distinction.
